MANILA, Philippines — Queen of all media Kris Aquino denied rumors that she passed away after rumors swirled over the weekend.
Kris Aquino is alive, says friend amid reports of death
Kris’ friend, Dindo Balares, said in a Facebook post that several friends called him asking if she had passed away.
“From the very first question, I already started feeling nervous. It felt like the earth shook and I suddenly felt dizzy. They [media friends] asked if the information that reached their editorial desk was true,” Balares wrote in Filipino on Thursday., This news data comes from:http://ck.771bg.com

He cited that he and Kris have not talked for days following a successful surgical procedure on her blood clots.
Balares later received a message from the actress and talk show host’s caregiver and said she was asleep.
He would later receive a message from Kris, confirming that she was, indeed, alive.
“Maybe coming from here... You know my BP (blood pressure) was going crazy. My WBC (white blood cells) dropped. Waiting for my doctors to explain,” she told Balares in a messaging app, accompanied by photos of her blood pressure monitor.
Kris also told Balares that her blood pressure was “scary,” having reached 172/112, and called for an ambulance.
“I don’t want you to worry, kuya Dindo. Kaya pa,” she told Balares.
Balares also said that Kris was in “high spirits,” and urged her followers not to worry.
“They checked if I had more blood clots. The good news: the blood clot that required for the surgery, thank you for the prayers, has shrunk significantly,” Kris said to him.
The veteran TV host had been in and out of the hospital, after her health started deteriorating since 2022.
